Job Description:

The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for manual testing of internal and vendor supplied software and systems, including those associated with smart phones and telecommunications products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Write test plans from the requirements, specifications and test strategies
• Debugging and determining root cause
• Planning, authoring, debugging, and executing performance test
• Knowledge of Design, Execution and Reviews of Test cases and Test Scripts.
• Good knowledge of Manual Testing.
• Involved in GUI testing, Functional and Regression Testing, knowledge about Test Director.
• Manual testing (Website Testing)
• Mobile testing (i-Phone/Android, 2D & 3D Game / Web application testing)
• Writing report on test result and quality problems and analyses of the same.
• Reports results to the QA manager
• Raise an alert when an important issue is likely to put in jeopardy the whole project
Requirements:
• Ability to do strong root cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of QA processes and concepts including test case preparation, and testing methodologies.
• Use versioning systems to code test scripts.
• Create and perform test campaign whenever it is necessary to fit in the overall planning.
• Use bug tracking database to report bugs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
