Job Description

We are currently in need for an Team Leader. We are looking for safety-oriented, energetic individuals to join our team! This team leader will be part of our 3rd shift, therefore working 12h shifts, Friday through Sunday.



Reporting to the Superintendent, the Team Leader will be responsible for the overall results (production, quality, safety) of a shift, ensuring safety and quality standards are met at all times. The Production Supervisor will gain experience in both the Sawmill and the Planermill setting as required by the business.



For Team Leader: Qualifications:

Education Required: Trade Certification or Associate's Degree, preferably in a technical, mechanical, or forestry-related program
Years of Experience Required: 4-7 years
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Committed to top performance in a safe work environment
Demonstrated ability to lead a team
Available to work flexible hours

For Team Leader: Key Responsibilities:

Supervising a production team
Scheduling personnel
Submitting weekly payroll
Training and developing new employees
Ensuring safety standards are met
