Job Description
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, MCA or equivalent.
Should have worked in the architect level role and should have implemented DevOps solution in a product development set up, especially in continuous integration and continuous testing.
To enable the software changes to be able to deploy anytime in production by integrating Development, Build, Testing streams.
person should be flexible to understand new technologies, recommend and work on automating the current PeopleSoft database and code builds to enable continuous delivery model.
This person should be able to suggest/recommend the right set of DevOps tools after carefully analyzing the PeopleSoft environment.
Should be able to visualize and be able to design systems, preempt possible outcomes, risks and be able to suggest alternate solutions.
Experience working in an Agile methodology.
Good command over combination of the below tools,
Automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, JIRA, Git, Puppet, Chef, Maven, Ant, Ivy, UrbanCode, Docker, or comparable tool, code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration.
PeopleSoft Development skills (People Code, Application Engine, SQR etc.) will be an added advantage.
