Job Description
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
1. A PG/Equivalent degree will be minimum criteria for faculty’s position for XI & XII (JEE/NEET), Age above 30 years, Minimum 5 years of Classroom teaching experience after PG/Equivalent Degree.
2. A Graduate/Equivalent degree will be minimum criteria for faculty’s position for grades up to 10, Age above 25 years, Minimum 3 years of Classroom teaching experience after Graduation.
3. For Science Subjects, candidate from Science Background will only be eligible.
4. For Maths, candidate from Science Background, especially MSC in Maths, will be preferred. However candidate from Commerce background can too be considered.
5. For English & Social Science, candidate from BA/MA in literature/SS will be preferred compared to other streams.
COMMON IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS
1. Superior academic record at all levels from high school onwards.
2. Minimum First class in Graduation/Post Graduation degree.
3. All degrees from reputed institutions, preferably from institutions of national importance or university departments in India or abroad.
4. Good oral and written presentation skills.
5. Strong command over fundamental subjects.
6. The following shall be considered as essential requirements, without which a faculty member will be deemed unfit for selection even if he has met or exceeded the prescribed qualification, experience and performance criteria.
o Commensurate volume of written material for assisting students-lecture notes, problem sheets power point presentations, etc. shared with the students.
o Consistently good (better than Institutes average) score in student feedback on courses taught/good name in the area/city/famous amongst students.
o At least 2 sample Question papers for different exams set by the faculty members to be examined.
o No adverse record in teaching e.g. Negligence in classes or exams.
o Strictly no adverse record of negligence or dishonesty in discharging one’s responsibility.
