Job Description
The Testing Practice Manager will be responsible for the Manual Testing Practice, he prime responsibility would be incubate and grow the testing practice, (a) externally by working with Sales and Pre-Sales in helping them win new accounts, create new solutions and value enhancers that help create a market differentiation for the company in the testing domain. (b) internally managing the pool of skilled testing resources within the team to ensure that they meet project expectations, manage skilling, re-skilling and growing the teams skills areas so that they can be optimally used for projects. In addition, he would be need to work with the business head to plan hiring and getting on board various skills as required so as to efficiently manage utilization within the practice.
Effectively engaging people on the bench using them for creation of bench projects which can be used to develop new solutions which are either market facing, improving project efficiency, or at the least enhancing individual skills of the team members would be another key role of the practice manage
