Job Description

Urgently required Junior DBA to work full time in ahmedabad with minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience is must
Location : Ahmedabad

Experience : 2 to 4 years of experience working on Microsoft SQL Server Database (2000, 2005, 2008,2012)

Job Description: We are looking for a DBA/Developer with following responsibilities
• Performance Tuning, Good knowledge of Query tuning, SQL Profiler, Execution Plan, Query Hint, DMV, Wait statistics
• Checking disk spaces, fragmentation, blocking, deadlock and fix it.
• Establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security
• Further refining the ‘physical design’ to meet system storage requirements
• Implementing and troubleshooting MS SQL Replication
• Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (‘metadata’)
• Maintaining data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act
• Controlling access permissions and privileges
• Developing, managing and testing backup and recovery plans
• Ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
• Capacity planning
• Communicating regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security
• Commissioning and installing new applications
• Establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security;

Candidate Profile: Candidate should be B.E./M.C.A.

Communication Skill : Good command over ENGLISH is a must

Position : Permanent
