Job Requirements:- Strong communication and organizational skills- Knowledge of sawmill machinery and maintenance- At least 2 years of experience in a management position preferredThe mill manager will be responsible for the following:- Oversee the mill production including mill employees, workplace efficiency, and product quality- Ensure that plant, equipment, yard, and buildings are maintained by coordinating with maintenance and upper management- Assist maintenance when necessary- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations- Train new employees in job duties- Supervise sawmill workers- Any other duties that may be assignedThis position requires an individual that is willing to fill in where needed to ensure a functional mill on a daily basis.Job Type: Full-time
