We are currently in need of a Production Supervisor who will be a safety-oriented, energetic member of our team! For Production Supervisor: Qualifications: Education Required: Trade Certification or Associate’s Degree Years of Experience Required: 4-7 years of mechanical experience; preferably in sawmill and/or planer mill Supervisory experience preferred Ability to communicate with all levels i.e. vendors, hourly and staff Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Computer skills with various applications related to sawmill equipment and inventory controls, MS Office are an asset Good written skillsFor Production Supervisor: Key Responsibilities: Lead a team to achieve and exceed specific operational targets, which includes: safety, production, quality, costs, etc. Oversee both sawmill and planer mill operators and developing them as needed Ensure a safe work environment and the need to address unsafe behaviorsWhat We Offer: This position offers a competitive wage and an excellent benefits package.
