Job Description
· Manage and ensure adoption and implementation of Quality Assurance processes and procedures, at the program level
· Works with engineers to drive improvements in code quality via manual and automated testing
· Create test strategies, high level milestones, and detailed test schedules for programs by collaborating with the internal IT Partners and external parties as appropriate
· Involved in the review of requirements specifications for weaknesses in function, performance, reliability, scalability, testability, usability, and security and compliance testing, and provides recommendations
· Report quality metrics and testing activity summaries on a weekly basis, at the program level
· Schedule and conduct weekly QA meetings to coordinate all testing between different teams; ensure coverage of testing and defect tracking across applications
· Facilitate change management and defect resolutions across teams, for defects impacting multiple teams
· Lead integration and end-to-end testing across all applications, as appropriate; develop schedule, ensure test environment availability, coverage of test cases, and defect management, to confirm all required testing is performed and the product is ready for next phase
· Identify risks and mitigations related to the quality of the deliverables
· Ensure quality compliance for programs to the prescribed company methodology and audit requirements
· Work closely with the program project manager to ensure accurate and timely project deliverables
· Lead other QA activities, as needed at the program level
· May be required to undertake people management responsibilities for up to 10 team members
